Can You Handle the Truth? Blogfest + Celebrate the Small Things

To celebrate Jamie Ayres second book in the 18 Things Trilogy, 18 Truths, Jamie is hosting this fun fest! To participate, you can sign up anytime between now and January 28th to post and to win one of 18 prizes!!!
The post needs to have two truths about you, and one fib, and you get to pick the lie from the truth.

So here are my three:
1. I used to be a competition ski racer.

2. I've been  snorkeling with manta rays, giant green sea turtles, and sharks in Hawai'i.

3. I went on a kayaking trip with my parents long ago by the San Juan Islands, and a pod of orcas swam through and around our group.

So, what do you think? Which is the lie?

And although I'm not posting every Friday, I thought I would celebrate today anyway!

Thank you, Viklit for this fun hop!

This week I'm celebrating:
1. My oldest daughter's 15th birthday!
2. The online marketing symposium on Monday.
3. Writing every day. (it's slow, but going)

What are you celebrating? And did you guess the lie?

I'm never good at those truth-or-lie games. I have no idea which could be the lie!

And hey, slow is always better than nothing, so congrats on all the writing you've done!

I'm going to say the first one is the lie.
Happy birthday to your daughter!

Well done on the writing! Slow and steady - that's how the tortoises achieve everything. :)

I'm with Alex, it might be the first one. Or not, now that I think about it. You do mention on FB that you guys ski. :) Happy Birthday to your daughter! Congrats to Jamie!

Have a great weekend!

I'm going to guess #2. And it is a guess, as I've no idea.

I think the first one is a lie. Happy Birthday to your daughter.

Happy 15th birthday to your daughter! Glad you're writing everyday, little or not.

Oh the lie…hmmmm I suck at these things, but going with #1. No reason lol.

I definitely think it's the first one, but I reserve the right to be wrong.

Happy birthday to your daughter! Here's some virtual cheese, if you'd be so kind as to pass it along.

Heather - I know what you mean - truth or lie games are tough.
And thanks! Yes, a little is better than none.

Alex - I'll let you know if you're right next week. :)
And thank you!

Madeline - thanks! Yes, I am following the path of the tortoise. :)

Karen - I'll reveal if you're right next week. :) And thank you!

Diane - I tried to make it hard - don't know why. I'll reveal next week.

Rachna - I'll let you know next week if you're right. :) And Thank you!

SK - Thanks!!! And I know what you mean, it's hard to tell. But I think there is a small clue in the way that I wrote them.

Crystal - I would tell you now, but I'm waiting to reveal if you're right until next week. :)
And thanks for your birthday wishes and the cheese. (She eats sheep cheese occasionally since it's the only kind that she can digest - but it's pretty tasty too. :)

I'm going to guess the first one is the lie, but I'm not very experienced at this. Happy weekend.

I think something about number 2 is the lie. ;-)
