I haven't really thought about the wild/unconquered places. But it makes sense for a fantasy world to have such places. ;)

It's just something I've been thinking about lately - not just for fantasy fiction. Don't we all have wild/unconquered places in our lives? Whether it's a part of our personality, or an abandoned lot in a city, or an entire country fallen to ruin after a war, I think wild places show up everywhere.

I am more into the dark side rather then the wild side.
