Shake It Up Tap Performance

This video is of my daughters' most recent tap performance. It isn't the hardest routine they've done, but the counter rythm part was challenging . . . so when they get to the part where they are not doing the same steps at the same time, it's on purpose. It's kind of like learning the rules of writing, and then breaking them for an affect.

So, do you ever go counter rhythm in your writing just to see what happens?

The girls did good! Which one is yours? I've played counter rhythm on my guitar and that's tough.

Alex - Thanks! Both girls are mine. My youngest started learning tap steps from her sister and I before she could take classes. I can imagine that playing counter rhythm on guitar would be really tough. I can only play one or two chords and extremely simple melodies on guitar . . .like jingle bells.

Yes, talented girls! I love watching dance and tap and similar things; they did a great job. Thanks for sharing this. :) Their outfits were really neat too, and a catchy song.
