Summer Dayze

Many Thanks for all the support and encouragement in the last week! I've seen shout outs for my book, and read your awesome comments, and I really appreciate them! Thank you!

I'm feeling a bit bad about not getting comments into the comment stream on my blog. However, I'm trying to visit everyone that comments here, and I hope that's all right.

This summer has been . . . interesting, fun, and very focused on family, something big for my kids, and exercise.

On a typical weekday morning, I bike ride with my husband between 6 and 12miles, and then I walk/job with my kids and their friends 2-3 miles.

Our days have been busy with the "something big for my kids" that I'll get to in a post next week, we've been doing a lot of fun activities as a family, and then when I cram in writing time around things, and then I visit blogs.

So, please know that I love you all very much and I appreciate all your comments, but I feel my best way to show that appreciation is to visit you back . . . so if I don't keep up with the comment stream below, please know that I'm making time for visiting . . . even if it is on a Sunday afternoon, or late at night.

Oh, and if you hadn't noticed, my summer schedule is a bit off and on. I think I'll be here this Wednesday and Friday, and then next week . . . well, I'll be revealing a bit about the "something big for my kids," doing a bit of celebrating and then I'll be off for a few weeks until the first Wednesday in August.

You're focusing a lot on your family and that's really cool. Two days a week is working for me this summer and I bet it will free up time for you as well.

Blog when you can!! Summer is all about the kids in my book.

And God bless you for doing all that exercise! Lord, I am glad if I can join my kids in the pool for an hour or two. You are really going all out biking and walking- good for you!

Wow, bike riding, I am super envious. Summer is all abut having family time.

Alex - I tried two days a week, and it definitely helped.

jaybird - Summer is definitely all about the kids! And biking has just been fun!

Rachna - Family time is a wonderful part of summer.

I only blog twice a week and sometimes I'm tempted to go to one. Go have fun with your kids instead.

Glad you're having fun with your kids and kudos to you for all that exercising!

Diane - I may be cutting back to that kind of schedule too.

Marcy - Thanks!!!

Wow! I'm impressed with your exercising. I think it's a great idea to take breaks from the blogging over the summer. It seems like most writer friends I know are so don't feel bad. Most of July and August I'm just blogging once a week because it's so much quieter.

Enjoy all your family activities! Summer is going by so quickly.

I had a CreateSpace incident the first time I used it too. I'm not quite sure what happened, but the project is still sitting there because they won't let me delete it.

Natalie - it's true that it is a lot quieter these days.

Christine - Thanks!!! And I'm so sorry about your project at CreateSpace.

Mary - Thanks!

It can be pretty difficult to keep up with blogs and comments sometimes, especially when you're as busy as you are, so it's completely understandable, IMO!

Heather - It just seems to be part of life.

I'm excited about the "something big for your kids" and I'm not even involved in it. :)

I've cut back a bit on blogging etc in July since I'm doing Camp NaNo. Most of us here in the blogosphere understand taking time off now and then. :)
