New, Party Plans, and Did You See?

New
I'm trying a new banner and name. What do you think? Too serious? Anyone get the old Winnie-the-Pooh reference in the old name "Tyrean's Writing Spot?" Is "Everyday Writer" okay? 

 Party Plans
My Blogaversary party plans for April 30th are slowly coming together in my head. Four things are for certain:
1. It will be April 30th.
2. Somehow, in some tiny way, it will tie into the end of A to Z.
3. Encouragement/Unexpected Blessings/Connections will be the theme. Wait, didn't I just name 3? Yes, still deliberating and trying to figure out how to put them all together.
4. Giveaways will happen: ebooks, and . . . well, I'm not sure what else. Virtual chocolate? Editorial help? Despite my rampant typos, I do teach writing classes and can spot grammar errors in other writers' work.

Did You See?
I had a guest post at M.J. Joachim's Writing Tips about being an Every Day Writer. It didn't get a lot of loving, so I would really appreciate a late stop-by, if you have time. :)

And Thank You for all the awesome bloggers and tweeters who gave my newest book, A Jumble of 500+ Writing Prompts a shout-out! You rock!


So, what do you think about the New Look or the Party Plans? Any suggestions?

    I think I used your new banner on my "Celebrate the small things" post, regarding winning your book. It's very attractive, and professional looking. (Blue and orange are opposite on the color wheel... I see the unpainted part o the pencil had orange tones. Also Purple and yellow are opposites... your background contains a purple tone, viola`... perfect color harmonies.)

    I like your new banner. And the good thing about banners is that you can change them when you want. And your party ideas sound fun. Chocolate is always a great gift ideea.

    I really like your tagline: "Never a day..." I love your A to Z theme! Very inspiring. Unfortunately I won't be participating this year, but I look forward to reading your posts!

    Great header! It looks very professional. And I'm impressed by your Blogaversary planning. I don't even know when mine *is* let alone planning something big for it. You have my admiration. Hope the party goes well!

    I like the new title and tag line! Very professional, yet down to earth too. Your blogoversary sounds fun and exciting. Congrats on the milestone! Planning one of my own for March, and am working out the details too (sort of...lol). Will hop over and check out your post. :)

    Hope your planning goes well. My 10th year is coming up this summer, and I want to plan something big too. So I'm hoping to glean some good ideas from all of you.

      LOL - I know, right? Chocolate without calories but with all the taste . . . that would be some good, virtual chocolate.

    I have A Jumble Of 500+ Writing Prompts on my Kindle. Thank you once again.
    By nature, I'm a 'prompt writer'. Good use WILL be made of those prompts.

    I like the new title, and the new head...picture. I just forgot what those are called.
