50 States of Pray

Many thanks to Mark Koopmans for hosting this wonderful blog fest! For more details, visit Mark - he's sure to put a smile on your face and inspire you.

This last year has been packed full of life, with first and second book publications, a happy and busy family, work to do, and sadly, two pooches who went to doggie heaven.

My parents, for the first time, realized that they were aging. Some of my friends' parents passed away.

Life seems suddenly too short.

My prayer for the end of 2013 and all of 2014 is this:

May God expand our moments to the fullest so we may know His joy and peace in all our relationships, and especially in our relationship with Him through his son, Jesus.

  4. That is a wonderful prayer! I may adopt a version of it if that's okay. :) Love this blogfest idea too.

The book arrived today. Thanks so much! I'll be happy to post a review, but please don't hold your breath waiting. My TBR list is pretty long, and I am helping Susan R. with feedback as she's writing book 3 in her series. So it may be a little while, lol. But I will do my best. It's fun to hold your book in my hands! So excited for you with two books out and more coming! Congratulations on a wonderful and productive year!

  9. Life is always too short. I came to that same realization a few years back when my friends started passing away. But life endures. Have a Merry Christmas!

I agree with you. Life is too short to waste it on being mediocre. :-)
