Thanks for joining me, Milo! Pugnacious is a fun word just to say, and I love that your desk is portable. Mine is too. :)
In addition to being my guest today, Milo is also the creator and host of the 'Tis More Blessed Giveaway!
Every participant on the following list is giving away a book for at least one Friday in December. Check them out!
And in addition to all that awesomeness, today is Celebrate the Small Things day thanks to Viklit!
This week, I'm celebrating:
1. Getting the Christmas tree up, lit, and decorated.
2. My family is healthy.
3. My daughters are in the Christmas nativity play on Sunday at our church.
Pugnacious! I like it. Just is also one of my bane words, Milo.
ReplyDeleteGlad your tree is up and decorated, Tyrean!
Great interview and I love the word pugnacious.
ReplyDeleteI hope the Nativity play goes well, how fun. Have a great weekend!
What a great writing quote - love it!
ReplyDeleteAnd I remember Milo talking on his blog awhile back about that novel he's revising - can't wait to read it! :)
We haven't done our tree yet, but hopefully we'll manage it this weekend.
ReplyDelete'Just' is a big one for me too. That and well... that. haha! I got the tree up really fast this year becasue when we moved we just decided to unpack it with the rest of our junk, lol :) Next year, I might not be so quick.
ReplyDeleteMilo's persistence has paid off.
ReplyDeleteNothing more joyous than a Christmas tree.
Milo is a great role model in persistence. Not surprised he likes that word. It was the secret of success according to another novelist. (tenacity and persistence)
ReplyDeleteHi, Milo, way to be concise! Thanks for featuring Milo, Tyrean!
Great interview, Milo! But removing that word would lead to unjust writing, and no-one wants that...
ReplyDeleteI remember having pugnacious as one of my favorite words when I was in high school. And 'just' used to plague me, now I keep finding 'surely.'
ReplyDeleteI love this generous blogfest.
Nice to "meet" Milo!
ReplyDeleteTyrean, yay for your tree being up and decorated, good health, and for your daughters being in the nativity play ;)
Great things to celebrate, especially the healthy part. I'm encouraged by the word, courage, as well. We all need that!
ReplyDeleteAlex - Thanks! And I agree with you about Milo's words - he made some good choices. :)
ReplyDeleteJulie - pugnacious is a great word! :)
Madeline - I can't wait to read it either! I've been stalking Every Day Novels and waiting for it to start coming out in weekly segments.
Laura - best wishes with your tree!
JA - just, well, that . . . oh, those words are painful. :) Great job with your tree while moving!
L. Diane - I agree on both counts. :)
D.G. - Milo is a great role model in persistence!
Chris - unjust righting . . . :)
Susan - thanks!
SK - thanks!
C. Lee - Yes, we all need courage!
I think 'just' is one of those words everyone overuses....
ReplyDeleteSuper impressed with Milo's goal. And lucky you to have your tree up. We're doing it this weekend.
ReplyDeleteThanks for having me, Tyrean!
ReplyDeleteHah! That was all kinds of fun. Awesome interview idea and awesome answers. :)
ReplyDeleteKate - I think you're right.
ReplyDeleteNatalie - I'm super impressed by his goal and all the steps he's taken to make it happen.
Milo - You're welcome!
Von Rupert - Thanks!
So cool that you interviewed Milo! isn't this an awesome contest?
ReplyDeleteFun interview! I love this idea. :) Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteWow, Milo sounds so prolific!
ReplyDeleteAnd a healthy family is always a great thing to celebrate. Hope you're enjoying the holidays so far, Tyrean!
Glad you got your tree up! I'm celebrating 1.) living at the beach in California even during a cold snap, 2.) finding out my tooth does not have to be pulled--it's a sinus infection!, and 3.) having my young adult horror story, Death House, get accepted for publishing (woo hoo!), as well has having my short story, "Christmas After All," released tomorrow in a Christmas anthology called A Touch of Winter. Happy Holidays!
