Indie Life: Just write.

I hesitated to post today, because I really need to just write.

I'm setting up a writer's workshop night at my church, and my life is so crazy busy I can't decide on the best date . . . and my writing time has dwindled lately.

So I need to just write.

I think that's just where I'm at today, as an Indie writer . . . I need to write. Nothing else will do.

What about you? Where are you at today?

  1. That's the main thing we must do. Hey, when you set up your writer's workshop, do you plan anything special or is it very unplanned, let people come and write type of thing?

  2. I have an unusual day each day. I find I have changed my habit of writing in the morning to writing in mid-afternoon and into the evening. But I intend to go to church tonight.
I have spent time with my email and reading the input of others on a professional social network. Sometimes, I write with my NEO in the mornings.

Today, I do the email check as I am doing laundry. In about an hour and a half I will meet a friend and her sister and go for a walk. I might need to reconfigure my days to get the exercise my doctor tells me I need.

  4. I should be writing too...instead I'm still trying to catch up with my blogs and get organized.

Best of luck to you and....just write! :)

  6. We are a rare optimizers software company will be a good idea.
Link exchange does not help in page ranking. So, if your
client wants Optimizers content writing is just about altering the sentences with fitting keywords and
newer words. Since then it has grown into a very powerful application,
currently priced at $147 and worth every effort.

  7. Just write.

I feel like that often. Writing helps me sort though my thoughts and emotions and if I'm in a muddle or if I haven't had time recently I need to just sit down and write. I emerge a much nicer person.

I didn't get over here during A-Z (sorry, it was a crazy month) but I love that you did fencing. I fenced a little in college. It was a lot of fun. Nice to get to know you.

  9. I always need to stop working on my blog and reading blog and just write. I squeeze it in when I can. Today I may get 30 minutes in at lunch.

  11. For the moment, I have decided to comment on the blogs that I follow. I have been away for a long while and decided to, at the very least, enjoy the writing of people I look up to. And maybe, just maybe, doing so will get the creative juices flowing again. I pray that this finds you well.

  13. I agree it is funny how that most crucial of things can slip under the table for a writer.

  16. Just writing too. I'm working on my Middle Grade WIP today, since it's been suffering from A-Z neglect. I promised my girls I would try and write a chapter a day and have it finished when they come home from school to critique. Here's hoping I can stick to that time line!!
