Theme: Creativity Toolbox
J = Joy
Creativity brings joy, and joy creates life-giving creations. Joy and creativity build each other up, again and again.
What brings you joy?
Creativity/Writing Challenge: Write or create something that brings you joy!
The Sensational Haiku Wednesdaytheme this week is happiness:
Happiness smiles wide
Laughter bubbles up inside
until joy resides
I agree that creativity and joy go hand in hand. I have found that I feel so happy when I get to see the finished product of pure spontaneous creativity.
ReplyDeleteJoy! I love the word joy. My daughter's middle name is Joy, after her Grandmother.
ReplyDeleteJoy and creativity are closely linked. Nice post!
You're right, being creative. Playing my guitar. Doing something with my wife. Remembering God loves me no matter how bad I screw up my day...
ReplyDeleteHa! Love the smile on that kids face. That gave me joy.
ReplyDeleteJoy - I love that feeling!
ReplyDeleteEmily - Thanks!
Alex - God always loves you no matter what - and I can't imagine you screwing up your day.
L.G. - Glad it gave you joy. I love that picture too.
Joy to me is pleasure in the simple things. The child laughing is a perfect example of that.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your post.
Spectacular smile!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by..
I agree: creativity does bring joy. Have you ever noticed how when you complete a project, whether it's writing, decorating, a preparing a special meal, etc., you can't stop looking at it and smiling over it?

Fantastic haiku ~ I am smiling ~thanks, namaste, ^_^
ReplyDeleteWhat a GREAT photo of the boy. Just makes me smile, inside and out! Writing in general makes me smile. :)
ReplyDeleteI feel the most joy when I am writing, taking pictures, or with my husband. Trips are fun because I can combine the last two.
ReplyDeleteWhat gives me joy? Signing/singing my praises to Him!
ReplyDeletePure joy to read this haiku.
ReplyDeleteI liked your Haiku. Joy is one of the slipperiest feeling of the human experience, yet the one most worthy to keep fighting for. Great post.

You've made that connection between laughter, happiness and joy, perfectly. Love your haiku. Am following your blog, naturally :)
