Prayer Requests: Please pray for my church and my family. Our Pastor feels called away, and our Leadership Team has been having issues for several months now. Our Pastor will stay with us into the beginning of January, and we hope that our Leadership Team will honor him in this last month. We are grieving for the loss of a beloved Pastor, and what we see as the end of an era of growth and purpose at our church. My family and I are grieving deeply, and are clinging to the joy and hope of Christmas right now.
Thanks for encouraging me on my NaNoWriMo journey and glad to hear you finished your 50,000 words, too! What was your title/genre? Mine is a YA historical fantasy called A Handful of Scars, with Christian themes woven in sort of like in Chronicles of Narnia.
ReplyDeleteI will pray for your church family and your pastor leaving! That is heart-breaking! We went through a church split 10 years ago that still makes my heart ache when I think about it. It felt like a divorce.
What a lovely feast for the senses - colors and scents...:) Sage green is one of my favorites.
ReplyDeleteWill pray for you and your church.
Blessings,
Karen
Margo and Karen,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your prayers. I really appreciate them.
My NaNoWriMo journey including taking my novel, The Crystal Sword, back to the beginning and starting over. It is an entirely new novel (mostly the same characters) with a much stronger Christian outlook.
Karen - Sage green is one of my favorites too!
